Outreach Clerk/Administrative Assistant
The Children’s Home Society of WV’s Parkersburg site is an OUTREACH CLERK/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for the Right From The Start program. Duties include contacting local provider offices including medical, social service and others to promote RFTS services and referrals. This may include telephone contact to inquire about new referrals, mailing brochures or other requested information providing information about related events, services, etc. Placing brochures and other relevant information in traditional and nontraditional sites. Attending community events such as community baby showers per RCC request. Contacting referrals to the program that have not yet engaged in services/agreed to enrollment, coordinated with the RFTS DCC’s. This may include additional telephone contact, encouraging medical provider to participate in referral enrollment process, letters and texting. Maintaining records and entering data in a timely manner. Associates Degree is preferred, will consider a high school diploma/GED with appropriate history. Excellent organizational skills, basic computer/data entry skills. Must be willing to make numerous phone calls and travel within our 8 county region. This position requires an outgoing and enthusiastic approach to interacting with prospective clients and community providers.

Applicant must pass FBI/CIB background checks as well as CPS/APS background checks.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
