Kathleen & John Faltis Child Shelter

When a shelter for the central region of West Virginia was proposed, the citizens in that area joined together to raise funds for the renovation of the old Muddlety School. The building, equipped with a gymnasium and industrial kitchen, was a good match for the needs of an emergency shelter. The friends and family of Kathleen and John Faltis raised funds and dedicated the facility to the memory of the Faltis family. This shelter accepts 10 children, ages 12–18.
