How to Get There:

From I-64/I-77 South, take the Princeton Exit and pick up Rt. 460 W toward Bluefield, then Rt. 52 N toward Welch. From Route 52 in Northfork, turn across the creek on a concrete bridge (Central Ave.). Drive straight ahead across the railroad tracks. The road (narrow, but paved) immediately turns left and runs along parallel to the tracks. This is followed by a short, steep climb, then the road levels out and runs along the hillside above the tracks. Within ½ mile, the road gradually drops back down to the level of the railroad. Take the street which forks to the right (Marked Third Street) just as you’re again level with the tracks. If you come to a stop sign at a "T" in the road (Burke Baptist Church on your right), you’ve gone too far. Third Street climbs fairly steeply through a sharp right turn, then several driveways fork off to the right. Just as the road tops the hill, there is a rock wall with a chain link fence to your left. Look for a parking lot with a garage apartment type building (shelter annex) inside this rock wall. The shelter is a two-story brick house across the parking lot from the annex.
