Romney Child Shelter

This building served as a nursing home for several years and was standing vacant when WVDHHR requested the old 5-bed shelter become an 8-bed shelter. Renovated hurriedly over the winter months, it was ready by June 1993. The shelter sits on 3 acres of prime land. This shelter accepts 10 children, ages 12–18.
